Dell is unveiling the newest member of its Ultrathin monitor family. The Dell 27″ USB C Ultrathin Monitor (S2719DC) is a low profile quad HD LED monitor with a USB Type-C connector that transmits video, data and power. It is VESA-certified DisplayHDR 600 and integrated with Corning Iris™ Glass light-guide plate (LGP) technology. Its small bezels make it look at home on a minimalistic desk for personal use or in the office. It functions as a dock/USB hub for a laptop with the USB Type-C connection supplying up to 45 watts, adding two USB-A ports on the back of the monitor for charging other devices and for connecting accessories and peripherals. The monitor features AMD FreeSync with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 at 60Hz. The monitor will be going on sale September 20th for $550 USD.
On the back the monitor features the following connectivity:

- 1x USB 3.0 (downstream, supports up to 7.5W BC)
- 1x USB 3.0 (downstream)
- 1x Analog 2.0 Audio Line-Out (3.5mm jack)
