Lenovo announces the Flex 11 Chromebook

From AnandTech comes the news about Lenovo launching a new Chromebook equipped with USB-C. For $279, it’s equipped with a 11″ screen that can fold completely backwards. We’re not sure that specs are very interesting for Chromebook users, but it’s got 32 GB of storage (eMMC based, not the faster NAND flash) and a quad-core ARM-based processor (from MediaTek, AnandTech suspects).

On the ports front, we have one USB-C port for charging and data, one USB 3.0 port, a standard HDMI output, combo mic/audio jack, and an SD slot. While we applaud the usage of USB-C for charging and data, we feel just one single port is quite conservative. Of course it’s useful that there’s a HDMI port on this Chromebook, but USB-C also supports this. And while you can buy a new cable, you can’t buy a new port for your laptop.
