Safe travels with the Zendure Passport Pro

Zendure, the company founded by Tom Haflinger and Bryan Liu in 2013, and well known for their Zendure external battery, have launched a successfully funded Kickstarter project. The project started in June 2017, with the goal of creating the world safest travel adapter. The adapter has, of course, an USB-C connection. Needless to say, we got quite excited about that!

Besides having a USB-C connector, one of the big features of the Passport Pro is auto-resetting fuse. The fuse  is a new addition to the Passport travel adapter. The auto-resetting fuse will interrupt the flow of electricity immediately when the flow exceeds its safety levels. Then, with just one push on the adapter, the Passport Pro is ready to be used again. This feature makes the Passport Pro probably one of the safest USB-C travel adapters out there!

Next to the USB-C port, which comes equipped with USB-C PD, there are 3 USB-A connectors on the Passport Pro. Thanks to the built-in plugs, the adapter is usable in more than 200 countries. Because of that, it’s very unlikely you’ll be stuck without a charger!

The Passport Pro will be available in October 2018, and we’ll make sure to write a comprehensive review once we have our hands on one of them.
